Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer who is known for his unique mix of soul gospel jazz R&B as well as R&B. Avery Sunshine's work has led her from Broadway to European concerts and festivals to even the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine has been born Denise White. She is now a resident of Atlanta her birthplace was Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical experience began at the church, where she sang as well as was a pianist. She attended Spellman College and began to learn the R&B style that is popular in Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan; it has been remixed since by many producers and remains the mainstay in her live show. Her voice was also added to the music of The Fighting Temptations. In 2005, Tyler Perry hired her as his primary keyboardist for his stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls production during the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was brought to the attention of all of the country during 4 performances a day during 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
